Big Feelings. Big Behaviours. Real Support — Right at Home.

Structured services delivered in the home for children and adolescents experiencing significant behavioural or emotional challenges. We work closely with families to strengthen communication, improve routines, and promote stability.

What This Service Is About

Intensive In-Home (IIH) Services are structured, family-centered behavioral health services delivered directly in the child’s home. This level of care is designed for children and adolescents experiencing significant emotional or behavioral challenges that place them at risk of hospitalization, school disruption, or out-of-home placement.

These services focus on stabilizing the home environment, strengthening family communication, improving daily routines, and building emotional regulation and problem-solving skills. Rather than removing the child from their environment, we work within it — helping families develop tools that create lasting change.

Our team partners closely with caregivers, schools, and community providers to reduce crisis situations and restore balance within the household.

Licensed Clinical Oversight & Evidence-Based Family Intervention

Intensive In-Home Services are delivered by qualified mental health professionals under the supervision of licensed clinicians. Services follow North Carolina Medicaid guidelines and medical necessity criteria to ensure appropriateness and quality of care.

Interventions are individualized and based on evidence-based behavioral models that emphasize family systems, skill-building, and crisis stabilization. Treatment plans are regularly reviewed to monitor measurable progress and adjust strategies as needed.

Our commitment is to protect the safety, stability, and long-term well-being of both the child and the family through structured, ethical, and professionally supervised care.
